We connected with Baby Blue, a multidisciplinary creative setting her sights on LA.
I met Baby Blue outside the River Tiber show in Highland Park when my friend stopped beside her to wait for someone still inside the venue. Blue flashed a grill that shone like spotlights in the night and said, “We don’t ever wait for a man.” The aura? Unreal.
After exchanging afterparty flyers, we set a date for iced matchas and life talk in Venice Beach.
It’s been a mix. Texas has given me stability in some ways, but the energy here isn’t always aligned with me. I’ve been using my time here to refocus on myself and my goals, but I definitely feel ready for new chapters.
I love how alive LA feels. Whether it’s hitting a rooftop spot with a view, exploring the food scene, or just meeting creative people, there’s always something that keeps me inspired. And honestly, I love just cruising around the city, windows down, music up.
In LA, I feel like I can turn the volume up on who I am. There’s less judgment, more individuality, and it pushes me to experiment with my style, my creativity, and even my career moves. It’s a place that celebrates reinvention.
Consistency, ambition, and respect are non-negotiables. I’ve carried too much of the weight in past relationships, so I need someone who not only matches my energy but also builds with me. Reciprocation is key—I give my all. Financial stability matters too; love is great, but partnership has to be balanced.
That I’m resilient. People often see the polished exterior, the style, etc. What they don’t see is the strength it takes to constantly rebuild, reinvent, and keep pushing. I want people to know that I don’t just survive, I thrive. Also, the credit you see goes all to me. Nobody — and I mean nobody — helped me get here. If anything happens, I have nobody to call on. So I refuse to let anyone give the credit to someone else.
